Online learning has been growing quickly since 2020. Today, millions of students follow courses on the internet, watch video lessons and send their homework by e-mail. For many of them, studying at home is as effective as studying in a classroom, and it is often cheaper.
However, online learning has some disadvantages. Not all students have a good internet connection, and some of them feel isolated without their classmates and teachers. Experts say that the more students interact with others, the better they learn. That is why many schools now combine online and classroom learning.
Part One (13 pts)
- Answer: a) Give two activities students do in online learning. b) Why do some students feel isolated?
- What does "them" refer to in "For many of them"?
