Duration: ساعة ونصف
Malika is a young Algerian engineer who works on solar energy. When she was a pupil in Ouargla, she noticed that the sun was shining almost every day while some villages had no electricity. She decided to study physics at university. In 2020, while she was working in a laboratory, she designed a small solar panel which was cheaper and lighter than the old models. Today, her panels give light to many schools in the South. Malika says: "The sun is our biggest wealth. We must use it to protect our planet."
